ABOUT
JASON VAN CLEEVES
Jason Van Cleeves is a multifaceted creative professional, serving as a writer, teacher, web designer, and comedian with a distinct affinity for the macabre. For the past seventeen years, he has honed his craft as a writer, but since 2022, his primary focus has been chronicling the true story of Hawk: The Raincoat Killer's traumatic childhood and its profound impact on his life. This narrative delves into harrowing experiences including druggings, beatings, sexual abuse intertwined with religion, as well as theriocide, familicide, suicide, and the raw realities of escape and survival.
In addition to his biographical explorations, Jason has long been captivated by the concept of telepathy and its potential connection to everyday speech. This fascination began over nine years ago upon encountering the provocative idea that "sound isn't real, it doesn't exist." Since then, he has dedicated himself to unraveling the implications of this notion and exploring how it renders all human communication inherently telepathic.
Jason has two books slated for release: Hawk’s Diary: The Raincoat Killer and Little Timmy’s Adventures: Not for Children. He continues to write prolifically and is currently developing his third book, The Bystander, alongside the animated series The Looney Bin. The latter will premiere this summer and be available on jasonvancleeves.com, YouTube, Amazon Music, Apple Podcasts, and Spotify.
